Who we are looking for: Atkore UK is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to drive the growth of our flexible conduit product line within the HVAC market. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building long-term customer relationships, and expanding Atkore’s market presence. The Sales Manager will work closely with the technical, marketing, and customer service teams to meet and exceed sales targets and drive awareness of our innovative, high-quality conduit solutions that provide robust protection in HVAC applications. What you’ll do: Market Development & Sales Strategy Identify and engage target HVAC customers, including OEMs, contractors, and distributors, to drive sales of flexible conduits. Develop and implement a territory sales plan to maximize growth within assigned regions. Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify new opportunities and market needs. Customer Relationship Management Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders in the HVAC market. Present Atkore Flexicon's flexible conduit solutions, addressing client needs and emphasizing features such as durability, flexibility, and protective performance. Resolve customer issues and manage high-level negotiations to ensure satisfaction and retention. Sales Performance & Revenue Growth Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by driving revenue growth through proactive sales initiatives. Regularly track and report on key metrics, including pipeline management, lead conversion rates, and sales forecasts. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and sales materials tailored to the HVAC market. Product Knowledge & Technical Support Develop a deep understanding of Atkore Flexicon’s product portfolio, especially flexible conduits and relevant HVAC applications. Provide technical advice and application guidance to customers, supporting sales efforts with product demonstrations and presentations. Collaborate with the product team to ensure customer feedback influences product development. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations, to align on customer requirements, forecasts, and market demand. Engage with the technical and product management teams to support client specifications and customization needs for specific HVAC applications. What you bring: 5 years of experience in sales within the HVAC industry or related field; experience in electrical or mechanical components preferred. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue in a technical sales environment. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and conduit applications is highly desirable. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in Sales Force CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Benefits.
