The Role
As an IT Support Engineer, you will provide escalation support for the Service Desk, guide the team, develop automation solutions, and manage small to medium-scale projects. Responsibilities include supporting users across multiple locations, resolving problems collaboratively, and documenting recurring issues.

Here's what you'll be doing:
1. Serve as an escalation point for the Service Desk
2. Provide guidance and mentorship to the Service Desk team
3. Have the ability and willingness to help us reach the next level
4. Have the desire to automate manual processes
5. Support our user base across our Northampton office as well as remote support for our Boston (US) and London offices, including our Polish remote colleagues.
6. Build self-service solutions to help drive empowerment across the business.
7. Own and run small to medium-scale projects, managing stakeholders’ expectations
8. Own problem records and collaborate with other teams in the business to resolve problems as they arise
9. Develop documentation for recurring issues and provide feedback to Service Desk
We're looking for someone who is:
1. Experienced in the administration of Google Workspace
2. Experienced in the administration and maintenance of Microsoft Intune
3. Experienced in deploying, supporting, and managing Apple MacBooks using Jamf MDM
4. Experienced in deploying, supporting, and managing Dell laptops running Windows 10.
5. Experienced in using service management and project management tools (Fresh Service, Jira, etc).
A few more details about the role:
1. Hands-on experience with identity management platforms (Jumpcloud, Okta, etc).
2. Experience supporting a complex AV environment.
3. Proven experience in developing automation across business processes.
4. Experience scripting in Ruby, Python, PowerShell, or Go.
