About the Role As the Group SEO Executive, you'll bring SEO operations in-house, taking full ownership of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. Working closely with a small, friendly, and ambitious marketing team, you'll report directly to the Group Marketing Director to create and execute tailored SEO strategies for each brand within the group. You'll be hands-on in driving organic growth, improving search engine rankings, aligning and implementing SEO strategies with broader marketing goals. This is a role for a proactive, data-driven professional who thrives on solving complex challenges and achieving results. Key Responsibilities of the SEO Specialist: Develop and implement tailored SEO strategies for multiple brands within the group while staying updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. Optimise website content, metadata, and internal linking structures to align with SEO best practices while maintaining brand identity and enhancing user experience. Conduct regular site audits, address crawl errors, improve page speed, and ensure all websites are mobile-friendly and optimised for search engine crawlability. Perform in-depth keyword research using tools like SEMrush or Ahrefs and collaborate with content teams to produce SEO-optimised blogs, product descriptions, and web pages. Strengthen domain authority by creating and executing ethical and effective link-building campaigns and fostering strategic partnerships. Monitor competitor strategies to identify opportunities for improvement and stay ahead in competitive markets. Supporting the re-platforming of a handful of the brands websites onto a new CMS. Work closely with divisional marketing teams, developers, and content creators to ensure SEO strategies are seamlessly integrated into broader marketing initiatives. The Key Skills and Experience of the SEO Executive: At least 2 years of hands-on SEO experience, in either an Agency or In-House Business. Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console, coupled with a strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO techniques. A keen analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and an eye for detail to ensure effective and efficient SEO strategies. Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, along with strong organisational abilities to manage multiple projects. A degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field is advantageous but not essential for this role. What's in It for You?
