About the role
Salary: £37,924 + 18% shift allowance + Bonus
Working Hours: 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm (alternating each week) – On site
Join our Maintenance Team at our flagship Fluids plant in Bootle and play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of plant equipment by delivering on-site maintenance plans and long-term strategies. As a crucial link between production and engineering, your effective communication skills will be essential in swiftly resolving reactive issues.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enhance overall equipment reliability through the development and execution of timely preventative maintenance tasks to optimize equipment performance.
2. Innovate and develop new preventative maintenance tasks.
3. Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance systems, suggesting enhancements for increased efficiency.
4. Provide diagnostic expertise to the production team for resolving reactive maintenance issues promptly.
5. Take the lead on small projects, ensuring their efficient and timely completion.
6. Act as a lead in electrical matters within the maintenance team, providing valuable insights and sharing your expertise with others.
7. Keep all compliance documentation updated as per requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications & Skills
1. A Level 3 Electrical qualification (Electrical expertise and knowledge).
2. Proven experience in maintenance operations with strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
3. Project management skills for effective leadership on small projects.
4. Self-starter and confident to work independently, seeking assistance where required.
5. Flexible and adaptable to react to unexpected tasks or customer demand, with basic MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
6. Willingness to develop cross skills to other areas of the maintenance team (mainly electrical or mechanical).
7. Detail-oriented with a commitment to compliance documentation accuracy with excellent communication skills for efficient conflict resolution and collaboration.
8. A SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) and customer-focused team player, working together with those in your team and within other departments/sites.
9. You will be organized with good attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
