Hays are working with a client who are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to support them on their migration to E5.
This role will fall inside IR35 and will run for an initial 4 months (highly likely to extend past this).
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the delivery of multiple projects, meeting deadlines in a demanding environment.
* Identify, evaluate, and implement solutions based on business need, utilising best practice within the team, and following IT Industry standards.
* Work closely with the Principal Cybersecurity Engineer, Security & Information risk advisor, and the Data Protection Officer to ensure required standards are met by implementing solutions and tools that monitor and enforce policies, collaborating with Operations on service transition.
* Responsible for technical delivery of MS security stack workloads, specifically E5 features - MDO, MDA, MDE, MDI.
* Lead knowledge transfer where required to members of the relevant D&D teams to ensure greater skills resiliency.
* Work with external suppliers and consultants in implementing solutions utilising best practice and compliance with standards and policies.
* Work with new and emerging cloud technologies to provide a modern, scalable architecture.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience of deploying hybrid cloud operational cyber security systems including Microsoft 365 security compliance features, identity and access management, threat protection.
* Experience with Azure virtual instances, M365 environments, and modern hybrid cloud architecture.
* Experience with integrations and migration paths from on-prem solutions to cloud solutions.
* Experience with managing migration of security stack to M365 E5 security pillars including MDO, MDE, MDI, MDA.
* Experience in the design of operational cyber security systems and governance.
