Our client, a global commercial insurance brokerage, is looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to join their dynamic and expanding Corporate Commercial team.
About the Role:
As a key player in the team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth, utilising the extensive resources you have within the group, such as existing introducer relationships and opportunities, alongside bringing your own ideas to the table.
This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
You'll thrive in networking environments, actively building your network and identifying opportunities to introduce the business and add value via the full suite of corporate services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, consistently exceeding targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring outstanding service and retention.
* Leverage your knowledge of a diverse range of insurance products to maximize upselling opportunities.
* Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, AGMs, and industry expos, using your interpersonal skills to generate leads and enhance market presence.
* Negotiate effectively with Underwriters and Insurers to secure the best possible terms for clients.
* Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and team collaboration to contribute to overall business success.
