Role Profile
Our Engineers support the day-to-day management of servicing our customers. They play an important role in ensuring we deliver a high-quality service and experience to our customers.
Reporting directly to the Regional Branch Management, the Engineer ensures all installations, removals, repairs, and services are completed within the time frames of the customer care policy. They ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to, operational targets and KPIs are met, and operational efficiencies are maintained.
Good health and safety practices are an essential part of this role.

* Repairing, maintaining, and installing various electrical products to BS7671 Standards (18th Edition)
Mandatory Requirements
* NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2
* City & Guilds 18th Edition (or willingness to take the necessary training)
* A full UK driving license held for at least 12 months
* Less than 6 penalty points and no IN or DD endorsements of less than five years
* City & Guilds 2391 inspection & testing is advantageous
* Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
* National travel may be required
* Patience – this role involves travelling during peak periods to and from customers' premises
* Comfortable working within the washroom environment
* Professional conduct is key for both the business and its customers
* Allocated Commercial Vehicle – Paid from the start of your shift to returning home
* Standard weekly working hours - Monday to Friday – 42.5hr week

Citron Hygiene has a wide range of customers across several sectors, including CQC (Care Quality Commissioned) registered service providers, such as care homes and nursing homes. The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted these vulnerable populations.
The Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) Social Care Working Group has highlighted that people living in care homes are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19. Under The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021, individuals entering the premises of a CQC registered service provider must be vaccinated unless exempt.
Please note it is desirable that candidates have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccination.
