Location: Leicester
Working: Hybrid (1 day per week in office)
Salary: £49,764 to £52,805 (based on experience, qualifications and interview performance)
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team managing procurement processes, from planning to contract execution.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
* Oversee evaluation, negotiations, and contract management, ensuring compliance.
* Build relationships with suppliers and internal clients to ensure value for money.
* Lead cross-functional teams on high-value projects, ensuring delivery within scope and budget.
* Continuously improve procurement processes and practices.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in a senior procurement or management role.
* Strong knowledge of procurement processes and relevant legislation (e.g., Public Contracts Regulations 2015).
* Leadership experience and ability to motivate a team.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to prepare detailed reports.
