Job Title: FP&A Manager Location: Cardiff, UK - office based Engagement: Full-time Department: Group Finance Reporting To: Group Head of Financial Planning & Analysis We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Manager to join a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in overseeing FP&A activities, including reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. This position offers visibility within the group and the opportunity to collaborate with various teams to support the company's global operations. This role could be a great opportunity for someone with the relevant experience looking to take the next step into an FP&A Manager position. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a small FP&A team (1 Senior Analyst, 3 Analysts). Oversee global reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency across various stakeholders, including the wider commercial Group finance team Ensure variances are explained and recommend remedial actions where appropriate. Collaborate with Finance Controllers and SSC to ensure accurate month-end closing. Manage scenario modelling as requested by Commercial Finance. Drive the annual and quarterly global planning process and maintain templates for various departments. Work closely with global teams to provide strategic financial planning support. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles. Deputise for the Group Head of FP&A as needed and manage ad hoc group commercial requests. Key Skills & Experience: Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with continuous professional development. A seasoned FP&A professional, ideally with a background in professional services. Experience managing budgeting and forecast processes in complex environments. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret trends and enhance financial forecasting. Strong staff management capabilities, with a focus on developing team potential and managing underperformance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with a diverse range of stakeholders. Advanced Excel, Power BI, and reporting tool proficiency.
