Quality Engineer Join a Leading Engineering Company

The Role
As a Quality Engineer, you'll work closely with the Quality Manager to ensure their products meet stringent customer and regulatory standards. You'll be involved in a variety of quality assurance and control activities, supporting key processes like NPI & Product Realisation to achieve KPIs.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure the quality of all processed products, interfacing with internal and external customers and suppliers on quality matters.
2. Handle non-conforming products, First Articles, PPAP documentation, reworking routings, and customer quality notifications.
3. Submit article concessions, First Article Inspection Reports, and PPAP Documentation.
4. Create QMS procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans for NPI & Product Realisation.
5. Lead or support RCCA workshops to establish effective corrective and preventive actions.
6. Monitor FMEA, Control Plans, and data-driven improvements.
7. Review customer and regulatory standards for QMS compliance.
8. Support quality improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, rework, and non-value-add costs.
Skills & Experience We're Looking For
1. Proven experience as a Quality Engineer in aerospace, nuclear, or other highly regulated sectors.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient with tools like FMEA, 8D, SPC, 5Y, and Ishikawa.
3. Certified AS9100 / ISO9001 Lead or Internal Auditor.
4. Familiarity with Engineering Drawing and CAD Model Interpretation.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
1. HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
2. Experience with AS9100 QMS requirements and AS13000 series standards.
3. Familiarity with NADCAP AC7108 / AC7114.
