Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not-for-profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel, we have been supporting older people for over 100 years. The charity provides care home and day care services for older people, as well as grants for older people in financial difficulty.
Kidderminster Day Care in Worcestershire is a specialist dementia support service, run by a dedicated and experienced team of staff that offers personalised care and support. The service is safe, secure and homely and offers a wide range of activities.
Joining us as a Domestic Assistant, you will help keep our Day Care centre clean and ensure that we offer high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. You will be responsible for general domestic duties such as vacuuming, polishing tables and office surfaces, wiping armchairs and dining chairs and emptying bins.
Self-motivated and resilient, a team player who is willing to go the extra mile, you will take pride in your work, ensuring residents are at the heart of our service.
A good standard of English and number skills is required for this role, and you will be comfortable using various forms of digital technology to be able to complete online training. No prior experience is needed, as we will give you all the training you will need to excel in this role!
