Early Years Practitioner - Nursery Nurse - Bowes Park
Job Description
Child care and education qualification level 3.
Working Hours: 20 to 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday, 48 weeks of the year.
Salary: From £12.70 and above depending on role and experience.
Potential to be promoted into room leader position.
We close 1 week at Christmas, 1 week at Easter, and 2 weeks in August.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Previous experience working in a room or team within a nursery setting.
2. A sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
3. A thorough knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage, including overseeing planning and record keeping.
2. Promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
3. Support the development and maintenance of highly professional working relationships with relevant Local Authority departments, regulatory bodies, and other agencies.
4. Remain abreast of current developments in childcare and education policies and practices.
5. Assist the Manager with maintaining accurate accounts for the nursery and produce management information in accordance with company procedures.
6. Assist with the preparation and delivery of regular staff, planning, parent meetings, and other events.
