About the role
London Nautical, A City of London Academy is seeking to appoint a determined, innovative, and flexible multidisciplinary teacher from September 2025. ECT applications are welcome.
You will deliver the highest possible educational standards and create a high-expectation culture in which students feel safe, valued, and motivated to succeed. The successful candidate will be fully committed to their students achieving outstanding outcomes.

About you
Dynamic, inspiring, and highly effective, the successful candidate will be able to contribute to the furthering of our exceptional Mathematics and Science Departments.
In particular, candidates should have:
1. A passion for teaching across subjects and the ability to inspire and enthuse students of all aptitudes
2. Strong subject knowledge
3. High expectations of students' learning, achievement, and behaviour
4. Enthusiasm for developing innovative approaches to learning, teaching, and student participation
5. A clear understanding of the latest curriculum and pedagogical developments
6. An ability to work as part of a team and closely with departmental colleagues in delivering the strategic and developmental aims of the Mathematics and Science Departments
7. Excellent organizational skills
