About the Role
A great opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Manager to join our team. This is a day based role working on one of our two paper machines based at Prudhoe, Northumberland. We manufacture UK household tissue brands at this site such as Cushelle and Velvet. We are looking for a result-focused and target-driven individual with relevant experience and good people management and coaching skills.

What You Will Do
As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the team's KPIs and delivery against business objectives. Your focus will therefore be in the following areas:
* Planned and unplanned maintenance processes.
* Vision of 0 stops philosophy, minimize unplanned stops using the Best-Practices in an efficient way + suggesting new BPs
* Establishes a Maintenance Meeting to plan all maintenance related activities (Planning and Scheduling)
* Coaches Organization in all behaviours and tools in terms of Maintenance
* Facilitates the application of systems expert maintenance and contributes to the systems for team maintenance
* Owns the maintenance management information system (incl. Technical Database, SAP etc.)
* Owns the process of breakdown elimination (OPA / OPL work) and develops strategy for Breakdown elimination and cost reduction
* Owns the quality standards for maintenance and their efficiency and owns Maintenance KPIs (e.g. budget, Defect trend)
* 5 year development plan on assets: maintenance investments, sustainability plan
* Accountable for Performance Management process and responsible for consequence management within department
Who You Are
* A natural leader and focused on developing and coaching your team.
* Proven experience in a heavy industry, manufacturing, or process environment
* Understanding schematic diagram and technical drawings
* IT literate (Experience of using MS office, SAP- or other maintenance management systems)
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet key targets and delivery of projects
