An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, empathetic, and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join a small yet busy team at a well-established practice. This split role covers two nearby sites, with 75% of your time spent at one location, though this is flexible to suit your needs and circumstances. The practice takes pride in offering a flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours, making it easy for you to achieve a great work-life balance. Whether you're looking for family-friendly shifts or specific working patterns, there's a rota to suit you.
The ideal candidate will be confident in all first opinion duties and comfortable with sole charge on occasion. The practices are equipped with modern technology, including digital radiography (recently upgraded to a DR system), ultrasounds, an endoscope, and in-house blood testing equipment. Spacious theatres and consultation rooms support a wide range of first opinion cases, and with one site recently refurbished and the other soon to follow, you'll be working in a well-equipped and comfortable environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to listen to both clients and colleagues are essential. The successful candidate will always have animal care as their top priority and be ready to contribute to a positive, supportive team atmosphere.

The Rota:
• Full-time position ideally (4-day week)
• 1:5 Saturdays
• No bank holidays or OOH work!
