We havea fantastic opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker to our supportive and dedicated team. April Court is a 17 bedroomed residential home that is dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities. It is situated in the Kinson area which is around 5 miles away from Bournemouth town centre. The team at April Court are proactive in ensuring the residents are supported to maintain their individuality. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting our clients to lead fulfilling lives through a person-centred approach. Providing high-quality care and support, centred around each clients needs. Ensuring that individual care plans are developed, implemented and monitored. Coordinating and leading support staff in the provision of personal care including manual handling. Working to required standards to comply with CQC guidelines. The ability to work flexibly including alternate weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays. The successful candidate should have: Experience of working with Adults with learning disabilities. Knowledge of relevant Community Care and Safeguarding legislation. Knowledge of administration of medicines and NICE guidance. Effective communication skills. Competent IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records. NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Care or a willingness to achieve this. Full driving licence and use of a vehicle is desirable. Part-time 13.5 hours per week We are NOT able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
