Access Arrangements Coordinator
Part time (35 hours per week), Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)
Grade G - £29,346 to £32,259 (actual: £24,302 to £26,715)
We are seeking an inspiring, highly motivated and enthusiastic Access Arrangements Coordinator to join our Inclusive Learning Team.
You will play a vital role to ensure students with SEND have the full level of support to maximise their potential, whilst also contributing to all aspects of safeguarding within the college. This is an exciting, challenging and varied role that will suit an experienced professional who is able to work on their own initiative, as well as being a highly proactive team player.
To be successful in this role you must be able to form good working relationships with students and staff and respond effectively to the changing demands of daily college life including dealing with the unexpected. You will be an excellent role model and have excellent communication skills with a passion and desire to work with students from a variety of backgrounds. You must have an enthusiastic approach in all of your dealings with students, colleagues and parents/carers, showing care and attention, providing a listening ear and the ability to act accordingly in a variety of sensitive circumstances.
The successful candidate will have a Level 7 qualification in Access Arrangements or be a qualified specialist assessor, and will be able to work to strict procedures and guidelines, to oversee that agreed arrangements are in place and fully implemented in line with JCQ and examination board regulations.
