What you’ll be doing
Join us on this mission as a Training Partner in our Academy where you’ll develop and implement training programmes to meet the skill requirements of various departments and functions across our business.
Aspects of the role include:
* Creation, development & delivery of training programmes that complement the skill requirements of each department and continuously educate to develop and maintain their required competence levels.
* Identification of applicable training courses that are required to educate specific skill requirements.
* Completion of required documentation following training to ensure employee records are represented accurately.
* Development of courses/training material to company Learning Management System (LMS).
* Adoption of different training styles to meet the needs of the audience, considering both classroom and on-the-job training.
* Co-ordination of external training activities with Technical Training Management.
* Supporting the Companywide Competency Management System strategy.
* STEM support for early careers opportunities, both internal and external.
Characteristics & Skills
* Experience of training and developing people.
* Public speaking and presentation skills.
* Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships.
* Experience of manufacturing processes in the Aerospace / Defence / Automotive industry.
* General Inspection / Quality Control Skills would be advantageous.
* Good knowledge of MBA products would be desirable.
Education & Qualifications
* Minimum of an Engineering related Apprenticeship (NVQ level 3) or an HNC / HND of similar origin.
