A flexible and proactive nanny is required for a busy family of 5 in Leamington Spa. The family have three boys, two aged 5, and one aged 15. Care is only required for B5’s, as B15 is completely independent. The family are looking for 10-15hrs of support, across either a Tuesday or Thursday, and Fridays. In addition, their jobs require short notice travel (Usually 5 days) so the nanny would need to be available to provide additional support in the evenings (paid in overtime). They can be flexible on the breakdown of the hours, whether that be a longer day on Thursday, and shorter Friday, or vice versa, they are happy to work around the nanny. The core hours required are across after-school and bedtime, to assist with dinner, bath and reading before bed. Before school pick up, some light housekeeping is required. The ideal nanny will be proactive and use their initiative to keep the house organised, and keep on top of family laundry and meal prep for the week.
The family are particularly keen to offer additional ad-hoc hours to someone who is looking for some extra income. They envisage going away for one night a month, so extra hours could be available across evenings, overnights and weekends. While these additional hours are not mandatory, they would love to have the flexibility to offer additional hours, with plenty of notice. Within school holidays, the family can commit to additional hours through the week, and again can be flexible on what the nanny can offer. At a minimum, the family would need 20hrs across the two days, but could offer additional days if desired.
