An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Head of Reception role at Pool House Vets. Managing a team of 17 receptionists across 4 small animal branches, the role brings a lot of variety and challenges. We are looking for someone who is flexible, hardworking, and has a proven track record of managing a large team.
The role includes working in a fast-paced environment at our main hospital. Duties will include:
1. Answering calls
2. Booking appointments
3. Cashing up
4. Taking payments
5. Allocating client screens
6. Delivering excellent customer service
7. Driving to develop a large team
The role will be 40 hours per week across 5 days and includes working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. This role reports directly to the Practice Manager.
Our ideal candidate
We are looking for someone with ideally 5 years minimum of being in a head role. The role also includes managing staff holidays, rotas, and overtime requests. Day-to-day duties will include a degree of client-facing and admin-based work, so the ability to multitask is paramount. The role is supported by a branch coordinator and team leaders to help delegate tasks.
