Job responsibilities Provision with Consultant colleagues of a service to Bedford Hospital and Addenbrooke's Hospital, with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness, and the proper functioning of the department Cover for colleagues' annual leave and other authorised absences Any responsibility, which relates to a special interest Participating in medical audit, the Trusts Clinical Governance processes and in CPD Involvement in research locally, and in liaison with Cambridge. Where it is agreed between the parties, work on behalf of Addenbrooke's Hospital such as domiciliary consultations, or services provided by the Trust for other agencies, e.g. the prison service.
