Global organisation looking to recruit a Head of Purchasing to join their growing business to drive strategic procurement initiatives
Your new role
* Identifying process improvement opportunities and optimising the purchasing process
* Negotiating group-level contracts
* Developing and implementing strategic procurement initiatives
* Taking a leadership role in managing the purchasing team
What you'll need to succeed
* Procurement experience (only within Food / FMCG sectors will be considered)
* “People person”, strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Hands-on and proactive self-starter
* People management experience managing direct reports or mentoring/ supervising
* Able to be based onsite 3-4 days a week in Surrey
