Hours: 1 x 22.16 hours post
Every Monday 1-6pm, Tuesday 9am-5pm, Thursday 9am-1pm, Friday 12-5pm and every third Saturday 9am – 2pm. (3 week pattern)

We are seeking to recruit an energetic and highly motivated individual with great customer service skills to work in our Library at Workington.
The role is extremely varied and requires individuals to:
* Be the first point of contact for customers.
* Provide information and deal effectively with customer enquiries including helping with IT enquiries - face to face, over the phone, written and digital.
* Carry out general library duties, help with the security of buildings and basic health & safety tasks.
* Support a wide range of events and activities for all ages that may involve reading and singing.
* Work as part of a team.
The successful candidate will have experience of delivering excellent customer service and supporting others in achieving this, effective communication skills, will enjoy working as part of a team and will have a positive outlook to service development and change.
