2 months Temporary contract - Hybrid - HertfordshireResponsible for the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for approximately 800 employees : Processing starters/leavers, pay changes, overtime, Bank hours, unsocial pay and post payroll deductions. Processing statutory and contractual Maternity/Paternity/Adoption pay. Processing payroll deductions, including Student & Post-Graduate loans. Processing and administration of all aspects of Auto-Enrolment pension and enhanced pension. Assist Payroll Manager with processing of statutory and contractual sick pay. Applying National Minimal Wage and Working Time Regulations legislation. Applying good data protection and data security practices. Ability to calculate payroll manually and maintain payroll records Collection of payroll instructions via appropriate Company forms. Auditing source documents for the appropriate authority, prior to further action. Payroll checks prior to processing final payroll. Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors. Assist Payroll Manager with monthly close of payroll and BACS file preparation. Uploading payslips to employee self-service portal. Preparing and printing payroll-related reports (earnings, hours worked, taxes, National Insurance, court orders). First call re: employee pay-related queries, via e-mail and telephone. Ad hoc duties including the completion of requests for pay-related documents including statements and verifications. Technical expert for i-trent, maintaining system configurations, planning and testing of annual i-trent updates and technical support for Business Objects. T: 44 (0) E:
