We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Assistant to join our operations team in London. Working alongside supervisors and using our inhouse- system (Freshdesk) this role will be to ensure that visual standards in our buildings are maintained to an excellent standard across multiple of our London sites. The Maintenance Technician Level 2 is responsible for carrying out general maintenance tasks assigned to them via the in-house booking system would have multiple projects assigned by their supervisors throughout the portfolio. They would also be required to assist supervisors in in-house training of all Level 1 Fabric technicians. A workplace unlike any other Working at Fora is an experience far from ordinary. Salary: up to 32k (depending on experience) Monday to Friday Hours: 8am to 5pm Main Responsibilities Replacing door handles, hinges, door closers fault diagnosing issues and knowing what correct parts to order. Minor electrical works, changing light bulbs. (including detailed Fault diagnosis ie transformer replacement) Plumbing works, replacing taps, toilet seats and unblocking toilets and knowledge of soil pipes and plumbing diagnosis. Hanging wall mounted items such as whiteboards, TVs, clocks etc to specified measurements given to you by client’s and members of the building teams. Preparation to wall surfaces, painting offices and communal areas. Ensuring floors, desks and equipment are protected. Carpet tiling removal and replacing stained/damaged tiles. Building furniture ( IE ikea flat pack furniture callax units,media untis, etc) Carry out daily building walks and create tasks to ensure a high level of visual standards and improving the member experience Ensuring stock levels are maintained and maintenance storage areas are clean, tidy and COSHH compliant. Requirements Qualifications/Skills Good all-round knowledge of building maintenance Minimum of 3 years building maintenance experience Good hand/power tool skills Good painting and preparation skills Experience working with third party contractors Trades or technical qualifications or courses relevant to building maintenance would be desirable or any other courses that are relevant to building maintenance.
