The Neurology/Epilepsy team has an exciting opportunity for 2 Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialists in Epilepsy. The post holders will join the current Clinical Nurse Specialist in Epilepsy, sharing the same duties and responsibilities, alongside 2 consultant Neurologists with an interest in epilepsy to form the epilepsy service.
This is an opportunity for enthusiastic candidates who would like to enhance their knowledge in caring for patients with epilepsy. Ideally, candidates should be experienced in caring for patients with neurological disorders, particularly epilepsy. The role provides an opportunity to learn about how the nurse specialist supports patients with epilepsy in both community and acute settings.
Candidates need to independently prioritize their workload and respond to patients in a timely manner. They will gain experience working within a busy neurology team passionate about improving services for patients with epilepsy. Support will be provided by existing members of the epilepsy team and the divisional senior nursing team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
