At WB Power Services Ltd, we are currently seeking a skilled Generator Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance on various diesel generator sets to ensure optimal performance.
The ideal candidate will have time served as a generator engineer or be qualified to NVQ level 3. Experience in generators is highly advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with electronics and mechanical components, including engines and alternators, is also required.
In this role, you will diagnose and address electrical and mechanical faults promptly, executing necessary remedial repairs with precision. You will also perform load banking and mains failure testing on-site as per customer requirements. Additionally, you will stay updated with relevant training and development to enhance your technical expertise.

The Person
* Time served as generator engineer or NVQ level 3 qualified
* Familiarity with electronics and mechanical components
* Able to work overtime, including mid-week, weekend shifts, and occasional overnight stays
* Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face
