Job Title: Section Engineer
Location: Beauly, Scotland
Overview:
An exciting opportunity is available for a Section Engineer to join a skilled team on a new substation project in Beauly. This role is part of a significant infrastructure development in the renewable energy sector, ideal for engineers who want to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee engineering tasks to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion
Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and other teams to streamline activities
Develop detailed engineering plans and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
Track project progress and address any arising issues
Engage with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors for smooth communication
Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on-site
Conduct regular site inspections, maintaining strict quality control
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Experience as a Section Engineer or similar role, preferably on large-scale projects
Strong grasp of construction processes, engineering principles, and project management
Effective communication and leadership skills
Proficiency in engineering software
Valid CSCS card and relevant health and safety certifications
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
