Sales Administrator Our client based in West Leeds are one of the UK market leaders within the test and measurement equipment industry. Trading since 2005, they specialise in sales, calibration, training and hire of test equipment with their offices and operations based in Leeds, LS13. The company works in close partnership with world-renowned manufacturers as distribution partners and service centre and they are well known and respected within their industry. Due to growth, they are now recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join their existing team. The successful candidate will ideally have some experience in a sales or customer facing role. Previous experience or knowledge of test equipment and applications would be advantageous but not a requirement as training will be provided continuously (sectors could include electrical/mechanical, gas/HVAC or others where test equipment is used). Your duties and responsibilities as Sales Administrator. Processing sales orders with accuracy and efficiency Answering incoming sales calls and e-mails Assisting customers on live web chat Identifying sales opportunities and diverting to product specialist where required Coordinating across departments to meet customer expectations and deadlines Serving and helping customers on trade counter Help build and maintain strong customer relationships Assisting with general administrative tasks with the sales department Liaising with the Customer Services department Sales Administrator - Key skill requirements: Excellent organisational and time-management skills Confident and professional communication skills, both verbally and written Attention to detail and accuracy Experience in sales or customer facing roles Experience in Sage software is advantageous but not essential Experience with test equipment or related sectors is advantageous but not essential Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) Ability to work closely with the team or independently when required Positive attitude and a strong work ethic Hours: Monday – Friday 9.00 - 5.00 Benefits: Salary £27,000 - £30,000 DOE Pension Scheme Free on-site parking 25 days paid holidays per annum bank holidays (with added days for long serving staff) Annual discretionary bonus Healthcare cash plan This is a great opportunity to join a growing organisation that value a positive, friendly and professional working environment.
