They have already embarked on an international expansion and have already established a strong customer base in Ireland, Europe, USA, and Australia—making it an exciting time to join the team The Role: We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and conscientious individual to join the Design Team as a Web Front-End Designer & Commercial Strategist. This role will involve close collaboration with clients to design and deliver high-quality e-commerce websites, alongside identifying opportunities to create and upsell additional design services. You will be an integral part of our growing team, helping drive the monetisation of the design department by offering bespoke tools and services that enhance customer success. Key Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with customers to design and build high-quality e commerce websites within agreed timeframes. Undertake recurring web design tasks for key clients, ensuring adherence to high specifications and timelines. Respond promptly to web-related queries from the support team, delivering efficient resolutions and exceptional customer service. Develop strategies to upsell existing design services and cross-sell related products. Present customised design packages to customers, clearly outlining the benefits and potential ROI. Actively seek opportunities to upsell design services and create proposals for additional design work that adds value to the client’s business. Track and report upselling and cross-selling activities, including revenue generated from bespoke tools and services. Work with the design team to develop unique and bespoke tools that can be packaged and sold to customers. Identify new revenue streams within the department by offering premium design services and packages. Provide regular reports to management on revenue growth, client feedback, and opportunities for further monetisation. Essential Skills and Experience: Demonstrable experience with CSS, semantic HTML, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of accessible web standards. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and time management. Artistic flair and a keen eye for creating bespoke, high-end designs. Commercially astute with a proven track record of monetising department. Beneficial Skills: Familiarity with Version Control (e.g., Git) and Modern JavaScript Frameworks (Vue.js preferred, but knowledge of Angular or React is also valuable). Commercial awareness to make informed project decisions and offer additional services when relevant to customer requirements. A proactive mindset with a desire to innovate and work with new technological advancements.
