Salary: £78,250 - £81,500 (depending on experience)

An Exciting Opportunity for a Leader in Psychology!
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Psychology to join our dynamic and supportive team at Stockton Hall Hospital, just outside York. This is an exciting leadership role that offers you the opportunity to shape the future of our psychology services, while making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.
About the Role:
You will lead a talented psychology team within our medium-secure care setting, providing a wide range of therapeutic interventions for male and female patients with complex needs. This includes individuals with diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, and personality disorders.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Leading the psychology team, ensuring the highest standards of professional practice and clinical outcomes.
2. Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement services that promote psychologically informed care.
3. Providing professional leadership, guidance, and supervision to junior psychologists, ensuring continuous development and support.
4. Leading the development of individual formulations, psychological assessments, and therapeutic interventions for patients.
5. Delivering training, reflective practice groups, and clinical supervision across the service.
6. Advising on psychological aspects of organizational functioning, promoting staff well-being and contributing to the overall health of the workplace.
7. Supporting complex casework and managing a clinical caseload, including interventions such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, and CAT.
8. Working closely with a range of multidisciplinary teams to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care and are supported in their recovery journeys.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you should:
* Be an experienced Consultant Psychologist with a robust background in a forensic or secure setting.
* Have strong leadership skills with a commitment to developing others and fostering a supportive and compassionate environment.
* Be skilled in delivering a range of psychological therapies, including EMDR, DBT, CBT, and CAT.
* Be passionate about service development and innovation, especially in trauma-informed care.
* Have a proven ability to manage complex cases, lead clinical teams, and drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes.
