We have an exciting opportunity for an Solicitor to join our Corporate Team in Norwich. The Norwich Corporate Team has seen significant growth in the last 5 years and is looking for someone to join the team and help fuel further growth. The team in Norwich has recently received external recognition by winning the award for ‘Excellence in Business Services’ at the 2024 Norfolk and Norwich Law Society Awards Dinner and was, once again, recognised at the Central & East Dealmakers Awards winning ‘Deal of the Year (Sub £10m) for the team’s role in advising Horning Pleasurecraft on its acquisition of Broom Boats and Broom Marine Services. Some of your duties will include: Assisting in a range of corporate transactions, including company sale, mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals, and joint ventures. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key corporate documents such as share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and investment agreements. Assisting with legal due diligence on transactions and preparing due diligence reports. Advising clients on corporate governance and company law. Supporting senior solicitors and partners in complex corporate matters. Preparing and reviewing board minutes, resolutions, and Companies House filings. Conducting legal research and staying updated on corporate law developments. Working collaboratively with other departments, such as commercial, employment, banking and property, on multidisciplinary matters. Assisting with business development initiatives, including drafting articles and attending networking events.
