This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Procurement and Supply Chain professional with strong project management skills to join a dynamic and collaborative team of procurement professionals.
As a Project Manager within the Procurement and Supply Chain function, you will play a vital role in the planning, execution, successful delivery and closure of projects throughout the whole Product lifecycle (CADMID).
You will be responsible for defining and establishing a project management framework across the team - integrating the latest industry standards in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. You will be a self-starter with the ability to drive and develop this role alongside the existing team.
Additionally, you will support the wider procurement & supply chain teams to ensure that projects are delivered effectively and efficiently within the agreed budget, timescale, scope and quality, creating and maintaining a Project Plan, Budget Tracker, Line of Balance, Risk Register, and any other project artefacts required to ensure proper project tracking and reporting.
You will engage with and represent internal teams as required, including Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Planners, Data Analysts, Engineering, Manufacturing, etc, while being the primary Procurement partner and integrated member of the programme team.

Procurement and Supply Chain Sector Lead experience required:
1. You will be expected to hold project management qualifications and experience, and while a background in aerospace and Defence is preferred, it is not expected.
2. Have a proven ability to develop and implement solutions in a matrix organisation supported by excellent communication, influencing and persuasion capabilities.
3. Good appreciation of Procurement core competencies (Supplier evaluation, risk assessment, category management, negotiation, risk management etc.).
4. Strong Microsoft Office suite capability especially for data analysis and presentations (SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
5. Experience of using a variety of project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera etc.
6. Providing expert advice and support to colleagues in the field of project management methodologies and practices.
7. Experience in managing the project life cycle from initiation through to closure, taking responsibility for the definition, approach, and execution of strategy, as assigned by the Senior Leadership Team.
