Summary of duties & responsibilities – The Club Manager is responsible for the management of the Club’s Commercial and Administrative operations. This includes undertaking the sales and marketing of our Club, as well as providing leadership of our office and bar & catering functions. Key elements of the role • Sales to visitors, societies and corporate partners • Business Development of existing and new income streams • External Marketing and Communications, including social media • Lead Bar and Catering: • Premises Manager of the Club • Manages bar operations • Manages catering franchise • Buildings Operations management • Membership Administration oversight (and processing when required) • Oversight of financial administration and banking • Supplier contract management (utilities, etc) • H&S officer / regulatory compliance • Payroll approval Attributes - The successful candidate will have the following: · Experience in a customer facing, sales environment · Marketing and / or social media experience · Set high standards and strive to deliver a world class customer experience. · Be friendly, polite and professional. · A “can do” attitude, great organisational skills and a strong attention to detail. · Strong written and verbal communication skills · High levels of IT skills. Experience in the use of our current system providers is preferable but not essential · Preferably have experience of leading a team · Preferably have experience in or understanding of the hospitality industry
