They seek to appoint a Supply Chain Manager to join the business and manage 2 direct reports. THE ROLE Contribute to meeting the business quality and safety requirements. Manage a team of people who represent supply chain Through managing the despatch schedule, help to maximise monthly revenue. Create an accurate production plan for the factory and communicate this plan to the production team. Purchase componentry to arrive in line with the production plan Manage customer accounts to maximize sales and customer satisfaction Ensure the smooth running of the warehouse function and dispatch of stock Physically check stock and use the check to make stock corrections Monitor goods in/booking in of materials Call off stock from suppliers and manage stock transfers between warehouses Write Standard Operating Procedures to document new processes. THE PERSON Must have the ability to build great relationships with suppliers Must be diligent and accurate. Must be resilient and enjoy a challenge Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office It would be useful to be skilled in the use of specific Supply Chain/Logistics management software such as Pegasus Opera, i2 Factory Planner or SAP.
