We are a local property and development company seeking a confident, organised, and proactive Office Administrator to join our busy team. This role is central to our operations, supporting both the Asset Manager and Bookkeeper, ensuring the smooth running of our office and assisting with a wide range of administrative and accounts tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaising with utility companies and councils
* Updating spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy, and flagging issues
* Answering calls, taking messages, and handling general enquiries
* Day-to-day administrative duties and basic numerical tasks
* Scanning, printing, and filing documents
* Providing ad-hoc support to Directors and Managers
* Confidently sourcing new suppliers and negotiating prices, terms, and conditions
What We’re Looking For:
* Prior experience in a busy office environment (required)
* Property industry experience is an advantage but not essential
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
* Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage a varied workload
* IT proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office – Excel & Word
* Analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
