Innovation and Continuous Improvement Manager
A Swindon based energy transformation firm is looking for an Innovation and Continuous Improvement Manager to be responsible for the delivery of multiple technical innovation and change programmes to drive continuous improvement. Acting as the main contact for all large-scale business change and innovation programmes, with a focus on digital, systems, and technology advancements.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Manage internal programmes, instigating, leading, and delivering large-scale change across the organisation supporting business functions with the implementation of new systems and processes.
2. Identify opportunities for innovation to drive business efficiencies and effectiveness, building and presenting business cases to support recommended changes.
3. Proactively engage with relevant internal stakeholders to review the business impact of proposed changes and ensure efficient change control methods and processes are utilised to enhance success rate and high engagement from end users.
4. Manage and guide the management team through change programmes, tracking and monitoring engagement and success of implementation.
5. Create roadmaps of technical improvements, liaising with relevant departments to ensure user guides are created and communicated to enhance consistency in working practices.
6. Lead the integration and management of new features and innovations such as AI and automation software, liaising with relevant department leads to identify areas for improvement.
7. Proactively review systems and renewal agreements to ensure efficiency and relevance in line with business growth and support in the establishment of alternative systems.
8. Conduct regular audits and check-ins with newly integrated systems, working with compliance teams to ensure maintenance of our IMS documentation and processes.
9. Create and present progress reports, particularly focused on targets and budget controls.
10. Enhance engagement of end users through effective communications of ideas, plans, and progress of change initiatives, including ongoing management of facilitating task forces, collating feedback, and collaborating with various departments to ensure changes drive efficiency and minimise manual tasks.
11. Provide continuous improvement and strategic advice on the utilisation of systems and effectiveness of existing vs new products, including supporting in the creation of training and roll-out programmes.
12. Work closely with our Brand and ESG teams to help lead industry standards and positively promote Sinewave leading systems and processes.
Requirements:

1. Proficient in the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc. across multiple platforms such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.

3. Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team.
4. Excellent listening skills with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
5. Proven competence in IT systems and software.
6. Strong knowledge and ability to deliver programmes ensuring compatibility and understanding across the team.
7. Good awareness of the ICP/DNO/IDNO industry.
8. Agility in challenging situations, with the ability to find appropriate solutions.
9. Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to work with multiple teams at any one time.
10. Drive to support the development of other colleagues.
11. Ability to drive and deliver complex, innovative, and timely projects.
12. Excellent organisation and coordination skills.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. Project Management qualification or equivalent experience (e.g. Prince 2, APM, PMI).
2. Change management qualification or equivalent experience.
3. Driving licence (maximum of 3 points).
4. Demonstrative experience in implementing change strategies.
5. Demonstrative experience in continuous improvement.
6. Experience working in the electrical industry (ICP/IDNO/DNO/CPO).
7. Proven track record of effectively managing multiple programmes.
The Innovation and Continuous Improvement Manager salary is £40-55k + benefits.
