Your new role:As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for managing both accounts payable and receivable, as well as treasury functions.Your main duties will include:
* Manage Accounts Payable:
o Receive, match, and post invoices/credit notes
o Reconcile and agree statements, request missing documents
o Handle enquiries and disputes
o Collate payments for due dates
o Manage trade accounts (e.g., hotel chains and mobile phones)
* Manage Accounts Receivable:
o Issue customer invoices/credit notes
o Issue statements regularly
o Handle enquiries and disputes
o Manage receipt of documentation for non-UK transactions
o Present sales data to the Senior Management Team (SMT)
o Manage credit control with third-party finance providers
* Treasury:
o Record receipts and payments in multi-currency bank accounts
o Reconcile multi-currency bank accounts
o Record and reconcile card accounts
What you'll need to succeed
1. AAT Level 2/3 or QBE
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Advanced MS Excel skills, including Look-Up and Pivot Tables
4. Experience with export transactions and documentation
5. Familiarity with a paperless finance office environment
