MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Comply with all company security policies and directives/procedures, including monthly senior management meetings and those established by the client. Notify the supervisor or manager of any unsafe practices that you have witnessed or witnessed. Carry out inspections, maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes and electric hoists at various customers as directed. Be available "on call" as part of the Maintenance Service rotation and provide after-hours service as required. Perform on-site electrical, mechanical, structural and electronic troubleshooting to determine the cause of equipment malfunction and determine necessary repairs using visual inspection, test procedures and appropriate test equipment. Perform a general post-repair check but before the work is completed, documenting that all required safety features are functional or documenting deficiencies and attaching a deficiency label to the crane. Document statementsand make corrective recommendations to the customer during the SAFETY REVIEW, including a written "Safety Notification" of any observed or known safety issues. Determine the customer's intentions to purchase repairs and note the actions needed to sell or complete the repairs. Before leaving the jobsite, Consultwith the customer on all matters related to repair and safety and discuss during the VISIT REVIEW recommendations that will help the customer improve his SAFETY AND PRODUCTIVITY. Determine which itemsrequire a quote. Complete and provide the appropriate electronic documentation using the company's digital tools required for each service, obtaining the client's signature and acceptance. Read, understand and apply the content of all CSA, OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI and other codes or regulations relating to our industry. Update and update yourknowledge periodically. Complete service reports and other required documents in a professional, accurate, neat and legible manner and submit them in a timely manner and in accordance with established guidelines. Maintain regular communication with the maintenance department and thedesignated coordinator in accordance with established guidelines. Maintain all equipment, vehicles and company assets in a safe and appropriate operating condition. Use tools, equipment and vehicles safely and responsibly. Notify the supervisor of any defect so that it can be corrected. Make sure you have a supply of forms, documentation, inventory and miscellaneous materials in the service vehicle. Document the use or sale to the customer, as required. Follow all established security rules and procedures, including those established by the customer. Participate in monthly safety meetings. Other duties assigned by the supervisor. EDUCATION: A recognized professional qualification/DEC electrical, mechanical/diploma in technology or equivalent experience in terms of industrial skills and knowledge with a related field. EXPERIENCE: Min 1 year or according to provincial legislative requirements and CSA/CSA standards. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must maintain a good valid driving record/driver's license. Able to work at height/climb ladders/walkways. Must possess good communication and computer skills, excellent customer interaction skills. Able to work overtime and travel out of town as required.
