experienced Area Sales Manager
to be based at the
Holiday Inn Bristol City Centre. This role primarily oversees our properties in Bristol and one in Cardiff, while also providing support to other hotels. You will join a dynamic employer with a passion for delivering first-class service and creating a quality employee experience. As our Area Sales Manager, you will develop and execute revenue, sales, and marketing strategies for the hotel. Participate in the preparation of the hotels annual operating budget, marketing plan, and financial plans. Create and implement sales strategies that increase occupancy, average rates, and volume, and boost food and beverage, as well as banquet sales. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and external contacts to generate group and individual business, including room sales, catering, and event services. Schedule meetings and group activities, coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth service delivery. Achieve your budgeted revenue and personal sales goals to maximize hotel profitability. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sales Manager within a branded hotel environment. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of securing the best possible deals for the hotels. Proactive, composed, enthusiastic, and approachable, with the ability to build rapport with guests and motivate your team under pressure. Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills with an eye for detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
