Job summary We are looking to appoint a Deputy Director Quality Improvement and Professional Standards to undertake a senior system leadership role to develop and drive implementation of the One Devon Quality strategy and related professional strategies. This will be in alignment with relevant national strategy, with a focus on leadership, professional standards, practice development and quality improvement. The post holder will ensure that Integrated Care Board (ICB) exercises its functions effectively, economically, with good governance and in accordance with the terms of the ICB constitution. Main duties of the job The individual will provide strategic leadership for development of a total quality management system and will be pivotal in the delivery of and driving clinical improvements and transformation with relevant stakeholders across the wider system. The post holder will have demonstrable and senior professional development expertise, experience working at a senior level in various settings and bring credible clinical leadership for several strategic priorities. The individual will have experience of successful working across a system or systems to create a positive culture for improvement and raising of professional standards.
