SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Appropriate experience working in the automotive industry. Preferably in vehicle dynamics or steering development, testing or validation. Ability to work well in a highly committed team environment. Demonstrable experience of working with high voltage battery electric vehicles is preferable. Demonstrable experience of project management, coordination and logistics. Required use of application tools e.g. ODIS E, iDEX, CANape, CP Tool, System 42. Responsibilities Provide onsite and in territory vehicle technician support for electrical components relevant to vehicle dynamics and steering teams, including updates and diagnostic support. Prepare vehicles for test, including changing hardware (i.e. associated ECU’s, wheels & tyres. Incl. kitting and de-kitting vehicles with test equipment) Liaise with whole vehicle workshop to manage vehicle updates. Liaise with logistics teams to manage vehicle and part shipment, including relevant customs and import requirements. Support with engineering project deliverables such as raising purchase orders and collating associated paperwork. Supporting engineer to produce evidence and reports to support release and integration processes. Support resolution of production line and field issues with root cause analysis QUALIFICATIONS Higher Engineering degree or equivalent. Driving license required. Flexibility to travel required. Elementary proficiency in German language would be an advantage.
