Animal Care Lecturer Contract: Temporary, Full Time Salary: £25-£35 per hour including holiday pay Location: Derby A college in Derby is seeking an Animal Care Lecturer for a temporary full-time position lasting approximately 6-8 weeks. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Level 1 and 2 Animal Care courses. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver engaging and informative lectures to students enrolled in Level 1 and 2 Animal Care courses. Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards. Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations. Provide guidance and support to students to enhance their learning experience. Maintain accurate records of students' attendance, grades, and overall performance. Collaborate with other faculty members to improve course content and teaching methods. Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree in an Animal Care related subject. Teaching qualification is desirable. Experience teaching Levels 1-3 in Animal Care. Industry experience working with animals. Strong communication and organisational skills. Ability to engage and inspire students.
