Description The Contentious Construction Solicitor will be: Leading on high-value construction and property litigation matters, including adjudications, contract disputes, and defects. Providing strategic legal advice to the business on contentious construction issues, mitigating risk, and managing external counsel. Overseeing pre-litigation disputes and working on alternative dispute resolution (ADR) strategies. Engaging with stakeholders across the business, including commercial teams, project managers, and external legal partners. Keeping up to date with construction law developments, ensuring best practices in dispute resolution. Profile The Senior Contentious Construction Solicitor should be: A qualified Solicitor with 6-10 years' PQE in construction litigation or property litigation. Experienced in handling high-value disputes, adjudications, and construction claims. Commercially astute, with the ability to advise and influence key business stakeholders. Able to work independently, leading cases and managing external legal support. Looking for a part-time role (3 days per week) while still working on complex, high-profile matters.
