Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
1. Technical accountability and leadership of the virtual team responsible for the detailed design, development, delivery and test of multi-million-pound complex customer solutions working alongside the Programme Manager, providing assurance and governance for technical components of the solution.
2. Low level discovery of existing solution components and owner of the transition from existing to proposed solution.
3. Sign off and acceptance of pre-sales High Level Design and statement of requirements on behalf of the Solution Integration team.
4. Owner of the Solution Integration statement of work which translates the high-level design and requirements into detailed technical deliverables, identifying the risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies for submission into the Programme risk register.
5. Technical risk/issue ownership and management/resolution during solution delivery.
6. Operate the Solution Integration governance processes and hold internal and external technical teams to account.
7. Act as a subject matter expert and be accountable for the customer solution design engagement during post-sales solution delivery, participating and often leading detailed design and system integration workshops. The output of which is to capture detailed customer technical requirements to determine the optimum solution design for their business to achieve maximum benefit from Vodafone products.
8. Accountable for producing Vodafone Design statement of work, to include 3rd party deliverables and then complete the detailed solution design in accordance with Vodafone Design methodology ensuring compliance of 3rd party design deliverables.
9. To provide pre and post sales consultancy to drive the generation of new business and provide 4th line support to the customer services organisation.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
1. Enterprise Architecture Framework (e.g., TOGAF) knowledge.
2. Strong project delivery methodology (e.g., PRINCE2) and framework (e.g., MSP) knowledge.
3. Relevant industry qualifications in technology field - CCNA/CCDA.
4. (CCNP/CCDP of benefit but not essential).
5. Strong business process framework knowledge (e.g., ITIL).
Degree in engineering or scientific discipline.
