Job Description – Multi Skilled Engineer - Four On - Four Off Shift 6am to 6pm Based NN17 - Corby
We produce all our drinks in-house at our Corby factory, after beginning life in our founder's mum's kitchen! We focus on sustainability; working with local farmers, turning our organic waste into Biofuels, and only using bottles made from recycled materials.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing business at our chilled juice production facility currently dedicated to producing a range of fresh cold pressed juices for clients all across the UK.
This is a great opportunity for an Multi Skilled Engineer to come on board at our Corby site. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining plant and equipment at the facility. The job holder will be a skilled engineer with experience in production conveyors, beverage producing equipment and also some facility tasks
Undertake a programme of Planned Preventative Maintenance and condition monitoring for key equipment & machinery across the manufacturing areas, to ensure that machinery & equipment is maintained correctly and operates safely and as efficiently as possible.
Prioritise activities such as reactive maintenance, breaks etc. in order to provide a fast response to breakdowns within the manufacturing areas to ensure that equipment “availability” is kept to a maximum.
Perform facility tasks i.e. doors, drains, fire alarm testing and other compliance tasks.
Any tools or equipment that are used for maintenance purposes must abide by Health & Safety regulations and report to the Engineering Manager if this is not the case.
To support with additional maintenance tasks across the UK sites as and when requested.
Monitor and Train Machine Operators to ensure continuous improvement.
Analyse system, lines and product performance.
The role is full time on a 4 on 4 off days only pattern. Maintenance Engineer experience ideally gained within the fresh produce or beverage sector
Applicants should have formal Electrical or Mechanical qualifications backed up with suitable training and experience ie NVQ level / 3 City and Guilds or food and drink industry engineering Apprenticeship
Microsoft office experience - word, excel.
Excellent Planning and organisational skills
Flexible approach to work.
Experience in maintaining standard industry machinery including conveyor belt systems, bucket fillers and strapping machines.
Working to British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards with regard to Hygiene and Cleanliness standards would be advantageous but not essential.
