The Role:
In this role, you will take full ownership of the IT infrastructure operating model, ensuring seamless service delivery of information, security, and communication technology systems across multiple hotels. You will collaborate closely with the management team, driving operational efficiency and supporting growth aspirations while managing relationships with third-party IT service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the IT infrastructure operating model is robust, scalable, and future-proof.
2. Identify and implement innovative IT solutions that improve delivery models and support the company's growth objectives.
3. Manage and performance-monitor third-party IT service providers to ensure quality and efficiency.
4. Work alongside leadership to ensure optimal IT infrastructure performance, both for customers and internal teams.
5. Support GDPR compliance and conduct regular security audits to ensure data protection.
6. Negotiate and manage third-party supplier agreements and service levels, ensuring adherence to agreed terms.
7. Manage software licensing, hardware lifecycles, and compliance, ensuring operational continuity.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships within the industry to enhance service delivery and stay ahead of competition.
9. Effectively manage and engage key stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
Experience:
1. 5+ years of experience in an IT service delivery role, ideally within the hospitality sector.
2. Strong expertise in managing hotel IT systems, including asset management, configuration, licensing, warranties, and compliance.
3. Proven experience in performance managing external IT service providers and ensuring service excellence.
4. Demonstrated ability to identify and deliver innovative IT solutions that improve business operations.
5. Experience managing IT services across their full lifecycle (design, develop, deliver, operate).
6. Excellent relationship-building skills at all levels, from executive teams to external service providers.
7. Financial awareness and strategic thinking, with the ability to prioritize effectively to meet business goals.
