Field Service Engineer

We are a working with a specialist company providing high-quality process purified water systems tailored for a wide range of industries.
This Field Service role will be within the Service and Commissioning department supporting Customer Support team. As a Field Service Engineer you will be working on installation, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of advanced purified water systems at customer sites across the UK.
Role Requirements Field Service Engineer
* Commission, service, and maintain process purified water systems including Reverse Osmosis (RO) units, Deionisers, and associated equipment.
* Diagnose and repair faults on-site, ensuring minimum downtime for clients.
* Complete service reports and calibration certificates to a high standard.
* Support project engineers during system handover and client training.
* Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring systems operate efficiently and within specification.
* Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at all times during site work.
* Participate in a rota for emergency callouts.
* Travel to client sites across the UK (and occasionally internationally if required) with occasional overnight stays.
The ideal candidate for the Field Service Engineer would have:
* Proven experience as an Electro-Mechanical Engineer, ideally within the water treatment sector.
* In-depth knowledge of Reverse Osmosis systems, Deionisation processes (both Ion Exchange and Electro deionisation), and pre-treatment equipment.
* Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
* Comfortable with commissioning control systems and troubleshooting instrumentation faults.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
* Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Full UK driving licence.
