Job summary Applications are invited for a full-time (1.0 WTE) Interventional Radiology (IR) Consultant to strengthen an established team of 7 Interventional Radiologists. The successful candidate will have completed formal subspecialist fellowship training in Interventional Radiology and will have experience in a full complement of interventional procedures including endovascular aortic, peripheral vascular, embolization, urological and hepatobiliary interventions. The appointee is expected to participate in Vascular and general IR procedures and will have clinic and MDT commitments as part of this role. There is an expectation to support the diagnostic requirements of the department including cross-sectional imaging and biopsy provision.The post-holder will be required to join a 1:7 on-call rota covering the Dorset and Wiltshire network. The post is based in Royal Bournemouth hospital but will involve pro-rata cross-site working at Salisbury District Hospital and/or Poole Hospital.
