Are you interested in providing research support in molecular microbiology? Do you have experience working independently and collaboratively within a team?
If so, then this is an exciting opportunity to join the School of Natural Sciences as a Technician.
The role of Technician helps to deliver timely and effective specialised research, supports the effective and efficient operation of general facilities and resources, and provides inductions, training, and demonstrations of specialist techniques to staff and students.
As a Technician, you can expect to be involved in:
1. Operating technical equipment and assisting staff and students.
2. Working effectively as a team and independently, providing technical advice in relation to the work area activities, equipment, and the techniques used, to staff and students, as required.
3. Experiencing working in a microbiology laboratory environment.
What will you bring to the role?
1. Educated to A level or equivalent qualification or experience
2. Proven experience of working in a Technical support role
3. Experience using complex technical equipment and protocols
